About Me...

Who Am I?

My name is Nigel Moss. I was born at the back end of 1968 - a year after the Summer of Love, and a year before Woodstock and men walked on the moon (or did they?)... My impeccable sense of timing has been a defining characteristic ever since! I have a brother and a sister (both older than me), five nieces and one nephew (all younger than me), a mother, a father and a stepfather (all older than me!)

Why Am I Here?

I have absolutely no idea, but I'm here and there's not much I can do about it, so I guess I'm here to stay for a while! Hopefully I will contribute something to the World, but I have no idea what it will be, when I will do it, or even if I have done it already! Such are the great mysteries of life...

What Do I Do With My Life???

I am currently doing some temporary work (at the moment for the Health & Safety Executive), after the company I worked for (Linklaser Ltd - don't look for it!) ceased trading two years after I joined them (there's that impeccable sense of timing again!) I worked for Linklaser as a software developer and also produced their web site for them. It used to be located at www.linklaser.com, but it would seem that Demon finally noticed the lack of subscription money coming in and the site is 'no longer at this address'. I still have a copy, and may whack it up on my own space one day for portfolio purposes.

At the moment I am developing my skills - largely in web work (HTML, Dreamweaver, javascript, PHP, MySQL, etc). I spend the first part of the morning on Usenet - mainly macromedia.dreamweaver and alt.html (where you will find me under the nick 'nice.guy.nige'). When I was 'between jobs' I'd head into town with a copy of The Guardian and sit in a cafe, watch the world go by, get befuddled by the crossword and slowly absorb caffeine! At the moment, though, it's off to work where I still get a chance to read the paper during lunch time, and continue to get befuddled by the crossword!

There's plenty more that I do with my life. I'll expand on this at a later date.
